Yoann Zimmer, a talented and intriguing actor
He is an essential actor in Belgian and French cinema!
Born in Namur and trained at ESACT in Liège, Yoann Zimmer is a multifaceted actor with charisma and innate talent. He is an actor to watch, part of a new generation of promising French-speaking Belgian actors. But Yoann Zimmer is also known for his thoughtful choices.
He chooses meaningful roles to embody and convey powerful themes. He has a knack for dramatic roles, thanks to his cold, mysterious, and brooding gaze, his natural charisma, and his intense, physical acting style.
He brings a fresh perspective, a unique signature, a poetry born of danger. He doesn’t strive for academic acting but rather exudes a certain naturalness, an instinct in both emotion and gesture. NEWS TO FOLLOW IN 2026
He was in the cast of Manon Coubia’s film *Forêt Ivre* , which had its world premiere on February 17 at the Berlinale and received the special mention for best first feature film in the Perspectives competition.

He stars in Marta Bergman’s film *The Ram Child* , in theaters since April 29, 2026. He plays the role of Kevin. He reaffirms his commitment to socially conscious cinema.
He also plays the lead male role in Catherine Cosme’s film *Sauvons les meubles * (released in theaters on May 6, 2026 ). We’ll be discussing it soon on AMILCAR MAGAZINE.
Meanwhile, he has just finished filming the highly anticipated series Haemers, in which he will play the lead role.
This drama explores Belgium in the 1980s and 1990s. It is scheduled to air in Belgium in June 2026. Suspense guaranteed! He has also just finished filming a drama, “Le sein de Jupiter” (Jupiter’s Breast), for France Télévisions and RTBF, alongside Sofia Essaïdi! He plays Fabrice, a former professional cyclist, in a drama centered on male breast cancer. It is scheduled to air in October 2026 , as part of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

He also writes and develops, with the profile of a committed author-actor.
He wrote and directed the short film Sauce à part . He even collaborated on the writing for the Amareo project. project with Marta Bergman! This actor is amazing and very promising because he tackles poignant subjects with such naturalness.
