BRAD PITT REVS UP THE ENGINE IN NEW F1 MOVIE TRAILER

Sonny Hayes (Brad Pitt) was the most promising F1 phenomenon of the 90s until his terrible accident. Thirty years later, now an independent driver, he is approached by his former teammate Ruben Cervantes (Javier Bardem), boss of an F1 team on the verge of bankruptcy. Ruben convinces Sonny to make his comeback on the racetrack in a bid to save the team and prove that he’s the best driver in the world. His teammate is Joshua Pearce (Damson Idris), a diamond in the rough with no limits, who intends to establish himself as number 1. But Sonny is soon caught up in his past. He discovers that in Formula 1, his teammate is his most formidable rival, that danger is everywhere, and that he could lose his life in the process.

Apple Original Films and the producers of Joseph Kosinski’s TOP GUN : MAVERICK present F1, starring Brad Pitt. The film is produced by Jerry Bruckheimer, Joseph Kosinski, seven-time Formula 1 World Champion Lewis Hamilton, Brad Pitt, Dede Gardner, Jeremy Kleiner, and Chad Oman.

F1 stars Brad Pitt, Damson Idris, Kerry Condon, Tobias Menzies, Kim Bodnia, and Javier Bardem, and was shot during actual F1 Grand Prix races.

The film is directed by Joseph Kosinski, from a screenplay by Ehren Kruger. Daniel Lupi is executive producer. The director is assisted by cinematographer Claudio Miranda, set designers Mark Tildesley and Ben Munro, editor Stephen Mirrione, lighting designer Julian Day, casting director Lucy Bevan and composer Hans Zimmer.

Apple Original Films presents Joseph Kosinski’s F1, produced by Monolith Pictures / Jerry Bruckheimer / Plan B Entertainment / Dawn Apollo Films. The film will be distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures, and will be shown in IMAX in equipped cinemas from June 25, 2025.
